S5 Athletes - Natalie Anderson

Natalie Anderson has a pretty hefty résumé under her rudder. Besides being one of the foremost female whitewater kayakers, traveling to competitions in dozens of countries and placing in several, Natalie also devotes much of her land-based time to geomorphological causes and protecting the natural flora and fauna of rivers around North America. With a PhD from Colorado State University and a deep concern for the health of our rivers (her current cause is the flow and migration of driftwood), Natalie is a river champ in every way possible.
